- Grady’s One-Act-Play will be competing at the Area competition on Apr. 13 at Post. Plays will begin at 3 p.m. and Grady is the fourth performance of the day. If you would like to watch Grady’s performance, it’s recommended to be present by 5 p.m.

– The Grady Wildcats brought home another UIL title after crushing the competition at the District 8-1A UIL Speech & Academic Meet. Calculator 1st Place -Team 1.

The Grady High School and Junior High track teams were in Welch this past week competing in the District 8A Track and Field Championships. The varsity girls and junior high girls won the district titles while the varsity boys finished as District Runner-Up.

– The Garden City junior high Bearkats and Lady Kats wrapped up their track and field seasons at the District 11 Championships in Garden City on Apr. 2.

– The Garden City Bearkats were in Blackwell on Apr. 5 to compete in the Class A - District 11 track meet at Blackwell High School.

- The Garden City varsity and junior varsity tennis teams competed in the first ever Lamesa Tournament this past Friday. The varsity finished as Tournament Runner-Up Results 1st Place Boys Singles: Carson Goodwin 2nd Place Boys Singles: Christopher Dyer 1st Place Boys Doubles: Weston Jost and Jesús Fernández 4th Place Boys Doubles: Jarett Fryar and Wesley Blalock Holley Stiles made it to the consolation championship.

Garden City’s UIL students had on their thinking caps for the District 11-A UIL Academic Meet. The Bearkats took first place in almost all the events to crush the competition and win the district championship.

– The Stanton Buffaloes were in Crane on Apr. 4 and Apr 6 to compete in the Class 3A - District 4 track meet at the Crane Track and Field Complex.

– The Garden City High School track teams hosted the Bearkat Relays last week at Garden City High School. Results: Junior Varsity Boy 110 METER HURDLES 1.
