– Grady High School joined all the other high school from Districts 7 and 8 at Sundown High School to compete in the Class 1AArea Track and Field Meet on Apr. 11.
- Grady golf is heading to state after Audrey Marler won the individual title and the girls team finished second at the Region I Golf Tournament at the Reese Golf Center in Lubbock Apr. 15 and 16.
- The Stanton Lady Buffaloes piled up 14 hits in an exciting 1110 walk-off home victory over Hermleigh on Monday in a non-district game. With the game tied at 10-10 in the bottom of the seventh inning and Aubrey Villa standing on third, Lacey Smith picked out a pitch she liked and drove in the winning run.
- Grady’s One-Act-Play will be competing at the Area competition on Apr. 13 at Post. Plays will begin at 3 p.m. and Grady is the fourth performance of the day. If you would like to watch Grady’s performance, it’s recommended to be present by 5 p.m.
– The Grady Wildcats brought home another UIL title after crushing the competition at the District 8-1A UIL Speech & Academic Meet. Calculator 1st Place -Team 1.
The Grady High School and Junior High track teams were in Welch this past week competing in the District 8A Track and Field Championships. The varsity girls and junior high girls won the district titles while the varsity boys finished as District Runner-Up.
– The Garden City junior high Bearkats and Lady Kats wrapped up their track and field seasons at the District 11 Championships in Garden City on Apr. 2.
